It is a peaceful oasis away from the bustle and hordes of the Old City. The staff were discretely attentive -- not intrusive but always willing to assist and make you comfortable. It is situated in a gorgeous old building that has been lovingly restored with great attention to detail. Very very clean and well maintained. Loved the soaps and lotions in the bathrooms.
The rooms are dark, but I understand that this is part of the architecture of the old building. Still, it is a pity not to be able to have a view from one's room.
Truly an outstanding find. The staff and facilities were excellent. The welcome fruit tray was large and outstanding. The breakfast was the best i have had. A tray of meat and cheese, a tray of fresh fruit, a basket of bread and rolls, then order what you want! This was a definite experience!
Excellent atmosphere; friendly and polite staff; superb facilities; first class restaurant. All fantastic. (By the way, I have already responded to this email and written my comments. But as the hotel was excellent, I have completed this form again.)
The staff were attentive and the rooms and facilities of a high standard.
Everything, staff were great and really helpful, a pleasure to stay there. Good on you guys.
A fabulous small hotel. Attentive staff, fantastic breakfast, lovely pool. Would highly recommend.
Lovely room and facilities. Warm, friendly welcome. Positioned in quiet, historic residential area close to the main attractions.
it is a charming hotel, very picturesque, and in a great location. We would definately stay again ,and would recommend it to friends. The price we paid was excellent for a 5star hotel.
would have liked a balcony , but of course the building does not lend itself to this , but that would have made our stay perfect.
Quality of service and of food
Poor air conditioning in room we stayed in
The hotel was amazing! Beautiful rooms, incredible food and a pool that has to be seen to be believed. It was a perfect way to end our honeymoon. The included breakfast was great and the dinner was the best we had in Croatia. Definitely try the three island excursion that the hotel offers. They pick you up right at the dock and take you on a wonderful day trip.
The only slightly bad thing was location. The hotel is not within walking distance of the Dubrovnik old city (unless you want to walk for 45 minutes). However, this is really not a big deal. Old City is something you do for a day or two at best and for those days you can catch a bus (5 minute walk to station) or take a taxi ($10 each way).
In a nice neighborhood of Lapad. Away from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town and yet easily accessible by bus no 6 (every 10 min). Price was affordable for a 5-star boutique hotel..free wifi Internet, and sumptuous breakfast served! Right next to the water at the bay in Lapad and a short distance to blue flag beaches! Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Room was comfy with good size bathroom!
Hospitality, Comfort, efficiency and friendliness of hotel staff was exceptional especially Jenny. The location for my wife and I was perfect as it was overlooking the harbour and away from the maddenning crowd of tourists visiting Dubrovnik Old City.
Rooms nicely decorated and a nice small pool at back. Reception staff excellent.
Check in staff excellent but waiting staff a bit slow and brought wrong orders a few times.
Nice and comfortable hotel. Excellent breakfast. Mostly the staff is friendly (one or two exceptions).
If you are traveling by yourself, don't stay there. It is not nearby the Old Town, you need to take taxi or bus for everything and the environment is quite romantic. Also, it seems the staff is limited, so when it rains they remove the cushions and don't put back for a while, i.e, swimming pool in the morning after a rainy night.
the hotel was very very nice and i would just like to chose that again, if i go again to Dubrovnik. i was before in some other 5 star hotels in dubrovnik, but the are much more worse then this one.
just the location is not that near to old town but still, i would go again there as all the rest is great.
